If you've tried to re-power an older Whaler, you know how difficult it is to find short shaft outboards. Let us fabricate and install a custom mahogany insert for your Whaler. An insert preserves the original fiberglass lines of the transom, complements the bright-work that makes the classic Whalers classic and gives you a 20-inch transom to accommodate long-shaft outboards.
We can also add a swim platform to make it easier to get back into your Whaler!
We can also upgrade your steering from the original pulley and cable system to the newer flex cable systems, giving your whaler a cleaner look with an easier to maintain system. At the same time we can upgrade the helm electrical system with a proper fuse block, a 12 volt accessory outlet and a horn to improve safety on the water!
